Pivot Bridge
Hotwood’s manufactures pivot bridges for those who need a bridge for their center pivot. We offer any length from 3’ up to 100’, with a width of 4' or 8'. The two shown below are 75' x 8' and can carry up to 7500 lbs. Using 2 7/8” heavy wall tubes for the main frame with 2 3/8” rungs, along with all joints being sleeved, they are designed to withstand the loads and perform for many years trouble-free.
As you can see in the photos below, our pivot bridges are engineered to bolt together in the center to make hauling and handling much easier. If you need a pivot bridge, ATV crossing, or any other type of bridge, give Hotwood’s a call. You will not be disappointed in the quality and integrity of this product.

The Smokey Moore Tribute
This Lil’ Sport—with almost half the capacity of the Lil’ Sports we manufacture today—was sold to Smokey Moore from northeast Texas around 2006. It was delivered directly to him by Kevin Houtwed from our main office in Grand Island, Nebraska.
Smokey was an avid fisherman that loved to fish in the lake you see this boat setting on in the photo to the right.
On September 26, 2008, Smokey passed away. At that time, the family decided there was only one place to put his ashes: in the old fishing hole he spent so many hours of his life.
Five men spreading Smokey Moore’s ashes right were he wanted to be. As the letter states, this is the very lake he caught a 12 pound channel cat one week before he died.
So five men, equaling 1,000 pounds as the letter below states, took Smokey’s boat along with his ashes back to that lake and held a ceremony right there on the water. Those men sent Smokey home to the lake that day and made it possible for him to be a part of that body of water for eternity.
This letter was sent to us here at Hotwood’s years ago, and we thought it was too touching not to share Smokey’s story after all this time. Endings like this make us begin every day with a smile as we meet new customers around the world that we hope enjoy our products as much as Smokey Moore did.
