500 Pound Cattle Caker
-
Our 500 Pound Cattle Caker lets you feed pellets, range cake, cubes or wafers with ease after it is loaded from your bulk bin or with sacks from the back of your flatbed pickup without ever leaving the cab. With the standard chute the feed will fall in the track of your truck as you dispense feed. It can also be placed in the rear of your side by side if your machine is big enough and rated to carry the weight.
This unit will be mounted on the drivers side of the pickup in most cases to make the rope pull much easier for the operator. However, you can use your imagination and do what works best for you.

Shown above is the standard 10” x 24” Straight Chute that comes with the unit and can be bolted on to the short chute with the two bolts that are provided. This chute also locks in the up position when not in use with the provided pin.
You can also add the optional Offset or Side Angle Chute shown above that drops the feed directly in the track. If you are using the unit off the rear of your truck or side by side when the snow is deep, this spout will create a natural feed trough for the livestock to feed from. When in place it will drop down at a much more direct angle than shown above to get your feed in the track of the tire. This chute has multiple length adjustments (shown below with the wing nut).
The slide door is pressured down with two springs after you release the rope. The two bolts you see on the hasp latch to the right of the door are included to mount the 24” chute or the angled chute on the short chute through the two holes.
